New Waterloo office to open mid-summer

We are only months away from opening the doors to the new Cedar Valley Hospice Support Center. It will be an exciting day for Cedar Valley Hospice to firmly plant its roots in the community that founded us over 42 years ago.

Our new Cedar Valley Hospice Support Center, currently under construction at 900 Tower Park Dr. in Waterloo, will house 80 compassionate professionals and be the home base for many volunteers. The project is scheduled for completion mid-summer and sits in a convenient location near the corner of Ansborough Avenue and San Marnan Drive.

“This essential support center will allow us to better serve the community,” said Executive Director Michaela Vandersee. “In 2020, we served more patients than ever in our history. Permanently planting our roots here will enable us to continue to serve generations of families to come.”

A community fundraising campaign will kick off soon to engage supporters in donating to the $3.1 million. So far, over of half of the $3.1 million-project has been raised in the silent fundraising stage, but we will be looking for support from all our donors to contribute to this historic project. A community fundraising campaign will kick off soon to engage our supporters. Meanwhile, here’s a sneak peek (see below) at what the new support center will look like and what it will feature to help staff and our community.
