Caregiver Support
At Cedar Valley Hospice, we understand that being a caregiver for a loved one with an advanced-stage illness is not easy. Cedar Valley Hospice offers respite services, grief support and volunteer support for caregivers needing assistance.
Respite Care:
Respite care from Cedar Valley Hospice is available at the Hospice Home and all contracted hospitals as short-term stays of three to five days. This is available to offer caregivers a temporary break.
Grief Support
Cedar Valley Hospice offers grief support services for anyone in the community grieving the death of a loved one and have many different support groups to attend.

Volunteer Support:
Volunteers from Cedar Valley Hospice are available to help caregivers and patients in a variety of ways:
- Run errands (pharmacy, post office, etc.)
- Grocery shopping
- Temporarily relieve the caregiver from their duties
- Offer companionship
