Our beloved mother was compassionately cared for by hospice in her last 9 months of her precious life. She passed away peacefully in the hospice home on September 23, 2024 with her husband of 68 years and many family members by her side. Every hospice team member that entered our parents home were so attentive not only to our mom, but our dad also looked forward to their visits and chatting with them. They brought him so much joy and peace. To this day he says he does not know what he would have done without them and their caring love for him and mom. Dad enjoyed gifting them with his wooden butterflies that he crafted on his scroll saw in his basement shop. Mom and dad absolutely loved when the music therapist would come. It would bring a calmness to their home during an extremely challenging time. We will be forever grateful for the amazing team and the kindness, support, listening ears, laughter, tears and love shared with mom and the entire family.
