New Look. Same Mission & Compassionate Expert Care!

As we all know, the healthcare industry is rapidly changing and evolving. At Cedar Valley Hospice we are as well, so we can stay cutting edge and continue to provide the hightest quality expert care.

As a part of that evolution, we are excited to unveil an updated logo and brand. This vibrant refresh marks the third logo change since our inception as a non-profit hospice in 1979. Using a modernized version of our most recent iconic tree along with a brighter green, this logo better symbolizes our organization's expertise in the industry. This is also perfect timing as we move toward the celebration of our 40th anniversary in 2019.

Our goal with this new brand identity is not to change the meaning of what we do or how we do it, but to further protray our strength in the hospice industry and our commitment to providing compassionate, expert care and support for patients and their families in the Cedar Valley.

"This logo refresh reflects our progression in the industry," said Executive Director, Michaela Vandersee. "It gives us a new look that matches the quality of services we provide and allows us to stand out from the competition."

According to Eleventy Marketing Group, every good logo should also reflect your brand identity, even if its subtle. For instance, Nike's swoosh logo creates the impression of motion and speed. Our logo uses a tree, which often symbolizes generations of family and life. Although a predominant part of what we do is treat terminally ill patients, our care eases the strain on caregivers and helps patients manage their symptoms - thus creating a better quality of life with a goal of Making Each Moment Matter

Based on results from a 2017 survey of people in our service area, 71 percent of respondents identified Cedar Valley Hospice first, so we felt a major design change was not necessary. However, the survey also revealed that there is still uncertainty on the differences between hospices, the appropriate time to begin receiving hospice care as well as the multitude of benefits for the entire family from receiving Cedar Valley Hospice's services.

One of the most common things we hear from families served by Cedar Valley Hospice is, "We wished we would have called sooner. We just didn't know."

"We hope that the logo sparks conversation in the community and prompts people to take a second look at Cedar Valley Hospice to learn more about how we can help their loved ones," added Director of Marketing, Jennifer Siech. "There are so many misconceptions surrounding hospice care. We want people to understand the value of hospice care and know we have so much more to offer."

We thank you for your support and are always here to answer any questions you may have. Meanwhile, feel free to explore our website and learn more abour how we can Make Each Moment Matter for you and your loved ones.
