Tree of Love

Cedar Valley Hospice is honored to continue the Tree of Love tradition of giving. Tree of Love endures as a unique opportunity to memorialize or honor a loved one with a gift to Cedar Valley Hospice as well as come together for reflection during a special time of year.

Each donor to this long-standing fundraiser will receive a bookmark or ornament as a symbol of our appreciation. Our selection of ornaments this year is as timeless as the love we have for those we affectionately remember. They combine each of the designs that have been a part of the Tree of Love tradition since its very beginning.

Gifts to Cedar Valley Hospice recognize your loved one and support our work of Making Each Moment Matter for nearly 1000 hospice patients and families each year. Our mission inspires us to serve hundreds more through our grief department, LINK Palliative Care, CASS program and our Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

We encourage you to mark your calendar and plan to join Cedar Valley Hospice staff, volunteers, patient families and community supporters for a ceremony at the Waterloo Center for the Arts in downtown Waterloo. Along with a time for reflection, guests will enjoy refreshments and entertainment from KWWL’s news anchor Abby Turpin.

Please consider a gift to the Tree of Love fundraiser and join us at our holiday ceremony on Sunday, December 8 at 2 p.m. at the Waterloo Center for the Arts Schoitz River room. Ornaments will be available at this event as well as at each office location beginning mid-November.
